Susan O’Sullivan

Susan has over 30 years experience as an Indigenous rights lawyer and negotiations facilitator with special expertise in Indigenous Cultural IP, cultural heritage management including development of policies and protocols for First Nations ranger groups and Traditional Owner corporations, corporate governance for indigenous NFPs and commercial corporations. Susan has a long connection with the communities of West Arnhem, Borroloola Barkly, Katherine, South East Arnhem and Groote Eylandt along with experience representing Traditional Owners and Native Title groups in Queensland, WA and remote NSW. Susan is and independent director of BKRLCC and the key legal advisor for the review of documentation for local ICIP agreements, policies and project approvals.
