Seraine Namundja

Seraine Namundja is of Ngalkangila skin group and Lambirra clan. Her country is Marlimarlih in the Cadell River district. Seraine is an early childhood teacher at Gunbalanya School, and is also a director and language worker for the Bininj Kunwok Regional Language Centre. Seraine has worked as a ranger for Warddeken Land Management, and later as a community liaison officer for Charles Darwin University before becoming a teacher. She is studying a Batchelor of Teaching (early childhood) at CDU. In recent years she helped develop and teach the pioneering Bininj Kunwok Online Course with Dr Cathy Bow (deceased). She is passionate about helping young Indigenous people and children to get a strong education for a strong future them and their families.
