Jeanette Burrunali

Jeanette Burrunali of Ngalbangardi skin group and Djalama clan group. Her country is Kabbari. Jeanette works on projects for the Bininj Kunwok Regional Language Centre and is a director for that organisation. She also sometimes works for Aboriginal Interpreter Service. She also is a teacher of Kunwinjku language to Indigenous and non-Indigenous learners. Jeanette has previously worked as an Aboriginal Health Worker Practitioner and Assistant Teacher at both Elcho Island and Gunbalanya. Jeanette is passionate about helping people and families to improve their health, social wellbeing and to keep their cultural heritage strong.
