Graham Rostron

Graham Rostron is a cultural teacher, artist, dancer, musician and song man. Graham’s kinship name is Balang, and he is from the Kune language group, in central Arnhem Land.

Graham is an accomplished artist, painting predominately with Marrawuddi in Jabiru, and is the talented artist behind the Bininj Kunwok Phrasebook artwork suite titled ‘Bininj Binihwokdi’ (Many people talking), as well as a collection of native plants and foods drawings for BKRLCC. Graham has also narrated a series of short films on bush foods, talking about where native plants occur, cultural knowledge around the harvest and preparation of these plants, as well as cultural uses for these plants. Graham is currently Darwin based.
